Format and Rules
This event will be Certified by USBC. Non-members may buy membership for $21.00.
Competition will be held in two categories: 40 over and under and 50 over and over. Each category will have handicap and scratch divisions. Teams may enter one of both divisions in their team category.
Entrants may be required to provide photo ID for verification of age.
Handicap will be 90% of 220 with a maximum of 55 pins per bowler per game. Maximum team entering average will be 440. No team will be permitted to bowl with more than 440 entering average. Bowlers will use their highest 42 game or more local USBC average from the 2007-2008 season. If no 2007-08 average, bowler will use highest current USBC 42 game or more average. For entrants using a current 42 game or more average, it will be the bowler's responsibility to provide average verification at the time of sign-in. Failure to provide this verification may be grounds to refuse entry. It will be the bowlers' responsibility to report earnings of $600.00 or more from the last 12 months and face possible re-rating. Tournament director reserves the right to re-rate any entry. All professional players must bowl scratch division only. Tournament director reserves the right to refuse any entry.
Team entry will be $125.00 for one division or $216.00 (total) for both. ($36.00 lineage/expenses, $89.00 prize fund.) Prize fund returned 100%. 1 of 4 teams cash. All prize monies based on 30 teams per division. If less than 30, prize money will be pro-rated.
All teams will bowl 4 games across 8 lanes. 4 game totals including handicap in appropriate divisions will determine cashers.
All situations not covered by tournament rules or USBC will be decided by the tournament director.
