Format and Rules

  1. This event will be USBC Certified. All entrants must be current members of USBC and be able to present membership card at time of check-in. Membership may be purchased on-site for $21.00.

  2. Handicap will be 90% of 220 with a maximum of 55 pins per bowler per game. Maximum team entering average will be 440. No team will be permitted to bowl with more than 440 entering average. All current professional members must bowl scratch (220).

  3. Entrants will use their highest 42 game or more local USBC average from the 2006-2007 season. If no 2006-07 USBC average, bowler will use their highest current 42 game or more USBC average. If none, entrant will bowl scratch.
    a.     For entrants using a current  42 game or more average, it will be the bowler's responsibility to provide average verification at the time of check in.

    b.    In the event that the average being used is not local (NCAUSBCA) 2006-2007 USBC average , entrant must provide verification of average at time of registration.

    c.     Failure to provide average verification will be cause for prize money to be withheld pending such verification.
     

  4. Entrants may be required to provide photo ID for verification of age.

  5. It will be the bowlers' responsibility to report earnings of $600.00 or more from the last 12 months and face a possible re-rating.

  6. Team entry fee will be $125.00 ($36.00 lineage/expenses, $89.00 prize fund.) Prize fund will be returned 100%.

  7. Pre-registration is not required. No checks will be accepted..

  8. Format: all entrants will bowl 4 games across 8 lanes. Two (2) qualifying squads will be held: 12:00 noon, and 2:30pm.

  9. High 4 game series, plus handicap, will determine finishing positions outside the top four (4) teams in each division. The top four (4) from each division will advance to a one (1) game stepladder finals format to determine the final top four cash positions.

  10. Mixed division finals will be first, followed by men's division.

  11. Re-entries are permitted, but bowler may only cash once in each division with the same partner.

  12. Prize monies based on 35 entries in each division. If less than 35, prize fund will then be pro-rated.

  13. All situations not covered by above rules will be referred to current USBC rule book. If not covered by USBC, Tournament Director decision will be final.

  14. Tournament staff requests that all bowlers follow the one (1) lane courtesy procedure to help us meet our time commitments.
